Heidi's Baking Challenge

I have decided to enter in Heidi's Baking Challenge.  The theme is muffins.  My entry is Chocolate Cinnamon Muffins.  Can you all please go over to her blog from the 17th of October and vote for me.  http://heidiscrafts.blogspot.com/

Here is the recipe, I found it in Love Food's recipe book 'Muffins'

Chocolate Cinnamon Muffins

Makes 12

11/3 cups Plain Flour

1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

1 tbsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

3/4 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

2 Eggs

1 cup Milk

85g Butter, melted

Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon together.  Stir in sugar and chocolate chips.  Lightly beat egg in seperate bowl, then mix in milk and butter.  Make a well in the centre of dry ingredents and pour in beaten liquids.  Stir gently until just combined; don't over mix.  Spoon mixture into muffin tray, lined with paper cases.  Bake in preheated moderate oven for 20 minutes.  Leave to cool, then enjoy.

Note: I have modified this recipe to suit my taste, so it is not the same as in the book.

Why I haven't posted!!

I haven't posted for so long. :-(  Now for the reasons why.  We have had three very important birthdays, party pics coming soon.  I have also contested in a local performance festival (eisteddfod,) enjoyed having 4 weeks of school holidays, (2 in July and 2 at the end of September,) have made lots of craft projects, and read lots of books!

 So now I am going to get back to my blog, and show you in other posts, coming right up, what I have been up to, using pictures instead of words.
