Sad times

I have been on a hard road lately.  Why? Well my Grandma died on 21st December.  Life just seems to be falling down around me, but thankfully I have a great family.  We all stuck together, and close to each other.  As a family we could overcome what happened and remember the good times.  It is a sad thing for those who love Grandma, but we can all remember that she is safe in the arms of Jesus.  In heaven there is no sickness and pain.
My grandma was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, but with prayer she lived longer than the doctors thought possible. In those two years she has made many special memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will always be remembered, especially for her love of the Lord, as well as her love of quilting, her flower garden, and how she made everyone feel welcome.  Grandma will be missed and remembered with love.  It is times like this that I and everyone else needs to rely on God. If we don't, we can become angry, hurt and play the BLAME GAME.  Always keep close to God. He will see you through all life's circumstances, encourage you and be your friend no matter what happens.  Be encouraged and inspired.  God is with you through all life's ups and downs, just as he is with me in my time of sorrow. Star

Here are the instructions for the star. 

1. Get 6 square pieces of paper.
2. Fold them all into quarters then draw 3 lines, each 2 cm apart. 
3. Cut in 5mm to the edge of the fold.
4. Open paper out.
5. Take the two inmost triangles and tape them together to form a circle.
6. Turn the paper over and do the same on the other side. 
7. Turn the paper over again and do the same thing again, and then turn it over and do it again.
8. Do this with all six pages.
9. Now take 3 swirls in each hand and staple them all together at the tip. 
10. Then staple each swirl's out most point to it's neighbour. 

The star is complete!

Christmas Tree

We have finally set up our Christmas tree.  What, we are late?  I know. But on the 1st of December we were still recovering from our Ergon shock. And it took 2 Weeks.  But now it's up, here are some photos of it. 

Hope you like our hand made decorations they keep growing every year.

Oh I forgot, our paper chains and stars went up before the christmas tree.  We made different chains this year.  Why?  Because we found out how to make the stars that are hanging up in the center.

Ergon Update

When we got home on Tuesday, in the mailbox there was something from Ergon saying, "Your power will be out from 9am to 12pm on Friday 3 December."  So today we were all prepared and waiting for the power to go out, and what do you think happened?  The power did not go out! I have had enough of Ergon! BEx

My Birthday, Online

 Guess what??  I am a teenager.  Here a some photos from my birthday.  Enjoy.

Dad and Mum, gave me a Sheaffer pen and pencil with my name engraved on it. Princess gave me a crown so that we can be princesses together.  My sister surprised me with a movie, and the Adorables gave me cuddles and  smiles all day long.  Baby Adorable slept in my arms in the shops.  My grandparents came around before tea and gave me Purr...fect sleepwear and slippers.  I also received the book of 'The Princess Diaries', I love the movie and the book should be just as good if I was allowed to read it.  Mum said to wait for the holidays, (I started it before she said that, now I am dying to read it.)  After the holidays I might have to update my top ten.  I was also given a cross stitch and a journal with another pen.
