Chocolate Slice
125g Butter (softened)
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Plain Flour
1/2 cup S.R. Flour
2 tbsp Cocoa
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg then beat. Add all flour and cocoa and mix well. Place mixture into a well lined slice tray and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes. When cool, ice with chocolate icing (recipe below.)
Chocolate Icing
1 1/2 cups Icing Sugar
1 tbsp Cocoa
2 tbsp Butter
Hot Water
Sift icing sugar and cocoa into a bowl. Add butter, then cream the mixture. Add water and mix well before adding more. Once you have a nice consistency, spread on the slice and place in the fridge to set. (This slice is also nice with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on top.) Cut into squares when the icing has completely set. ENJOY:)

that looks great!
That looks yum, BEx. Would that serve 24, do you think?
I suddenly feel hungary (:
Immm, yum. My brother just saw that and really likes the look of it. I'll have to make it some time.
Yes Givinya De Elba, that slice will serve 24, but I always make double, so that it lasts more than a day! BEx.
